WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT

Let's be honest.

The fitness industry sells you BS:

  • Unrealistic transformation promises (3 weeks to a new you!)

  • Flashy and unsafe or unnecessary exercises

  • All-or-nothing programs that wreck you

  • The idea that you've waited too long

I'm not selling that.

I'm showing you how to build sustainable strength without the perfectionist pressure. Two to three workouts a week. Five foundational movements. It doesn't need to be complicated.

You don't need hours at the gym, fancy equipment, perfect nutrition, or more motivation.  You need a simpler approach. And you need to stop waiting for life to calm down before you start. Because it won't.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF...

  • You think you've "waited too long" to start strength training (you haven't)

  • You're tired of transformation promises and programs that don't fit real life

  • You want to get stronger without spending hours at the gym

  • You're busy, overwhelmed, and need fitness to be honestly simple

  • You're done with the perfectionist pressure and the all-or-nothing approach

Sound like you?

ABOUT LAUREL

I'm Laurel—founder of Honest Fitness and a certified personal trainer specializing in strength training for busy, overwhelmed women. I spent 20 years in marketing before becoming a trainer, so I know BS when I see it. The fitness industry is full of it.

After having my two kids in my late 30s, I discovered strength training and ditched the hours of aimless cardio. The transformation wasn't just physical—it was mental. I finally understood that fitness doesn't need to be complicated or time-consuming to work.

When I became a trainer, I knew I wanted to do things differently. No unrealistic transformation promises. No perfectionist messaging. No making women feel like they're "behind" or that they've waited too long. I help women realize that strength training is simpler than they think—and that starting from exactly where they are is the whole point. Based in Manitoba, Canada. Training women virtually and in person.

Since training with Laurel, I feel stronger and more toned, and I’m down 10 pounds. I really appreciate how Laurel tailors every workout to fit my needs. I have a sore neck, and she always adjusts exercises so I can still get a great workout without irritation. There’s never a need to skip exercises or make excuses because she makes everything work for you. It makes staying consistent so much easier.
